016 | rock restoration regime
i find that this method is working smoothly for me at the moment. rough sketch, block colors, blending, layout.
is an artist who got shanghaied (or should it be 'singapored') to Imaginary Friends Studios. This blog is his attempt at injecting spontenaiety and intuition back into his works, by doing daily sketch updates. He likes cheese.

How do you smooth out the edges in the render phase?
Eraser? Vector mask?
i use the eyedropper tool to extract the background color, then i paint over the edges of the character's silhouette.
Interesting, so do you do everything on one layer? What do you do if you want to change the background colour?
